    Spring nut check . . .

Same thing just this weekend happened to me. New radius rods, king pins, wheel bearings, friction disc. Drove it to get alignment and everything was fine, no wobble, bouncing. Got cleaned up to take wife to dinner and had to turn around and head for the house. Thought the whole front was going...

    Radius rod ??

I took my radius rods off the other day to replace them. Took exact measurements from upper bat wing mount to rear mounting point before removing them. When i did remove the rear bolt on the first one, radius rod kind of 'popped; downward. When the rear bolt was removed from the other side it...

    E- brake

Doesn't parking brake have something to do with the self adjuster, where as every time you use it, it turns the little star wheel adjuster. This would keep from having to manually adjust brake shoes. Just saying.

    The famous 'stiff ride' question...

3 questions please? How much air pressure in tube and do you cut 'donut' hole all the way through so tube sits on plywood or just where tube is basically flush with top of foam? What about using the straps in addition to the tubes? Thanks, Mark.

    indicator lights

I have installed electric fan with American Autowire fan relay kit. Pretty much standard install. I even wired indicator light that will tell when fan is on, whether on with temp sensor or manual override. Thermostat opens at 165, fan on at 185 and off at 175. everything works as it should...

    Fan shroud depth

I don't post a lot as I usually find what I'm looking for. I DID read rule #1. That being said, I have a question concerning fan shroud depth. Based on my needs only, I have decided on electric fan w/shroud. Respectfully, don't need opinions on this subject. There is 4 inches from pulley to rad...

    Removing rear transverse spring

Made spreader bar 1 inch square tube and 5/8 all thread. Couldn't get all thread in center hole because of clearance issues. I used a couple of c- clamps. Four leafs now. Rides noticeably smoother. Issue now is only about 3/4 inch of upward shock travel. Looking at shocks now. In retrospect, I...
