425 Olds exhaust

Anyone using exhaust on big block Olds besides Lakester style? I can't
find anything but the lakester style. I don't think any stock manifolds can
be used due to width of engine. Thanks. I am using a Spirit 23 body and
Speedway frame, just happened to buy it from someone that quit on the
project.

If you don't mind spending money, custom headers are always available. I have used Bob Butler in San Diego. He will build anything you want, any curves, any direction, any material. I have also heard of Greg Hullman (sp) in Kingman Arizona. I would be thinking in $2500.00 range, your mileage may vary.

Sometimes these guys simply order laser cut flanges and a bunch of pipe bends and then cut, rotate and weld all the pieces together. That sounds simpler than it really is, but it is pretty interesting if they let you watch. If you have the ability or want to learn you could do the same and MAYBE get what you want for less bucks.

I don't know where you are at in Mo but there is a hot rod shop in Indep that would build a custom set of headers, he uses 120 thick wall tubing. If you want to know more just say so
