69' Olds 350 motor

Hi All

Down in the south Pacific ,Olds motors are as rear as hens teeth. Does anybody have a suggestion on the best place to get a rebuild kit.???

Hi and welcome.

Cant think of anyone in this part of the world who will have stock on the shelves, but I figure you have 2 options:

1) put advert in Petrolhead and see if anyones got one they brought in but havent used
2) bring a complete kit in from Summit Racing.

Summit have them with forged pistons for a bit over US$600. Get it sent to California and get one of the NZ shippers there to bring it out for you.

With the dollar around .72 it should cost you about NZ$1300-$1500 on your doorstep with the freight and GST paid

Performance Automotive Warehouse offers rebuild kits for Olds Engines, look on the bottom of this link page, you will have to contact them. Shipping will prolly be a killer I'd think. Can't be cheap to fly in a crank and rods and other parts... Good Luck Pal ! "BH"

You can get all your parts thru the internet, if your parts store can't get a rebuild kit for you. Try PAW, Summit, Mellings...all those companys carry cheap to really high quality rebuild kits.........
