And our employees are at it yet again

And now, we're facing problems on an international level, so please sign on for this one - One Million to Defend Internet Freedom

Secret negotiations involving dozens of countries preparing for a United Nations summit on international telecommunications could lead to changes in a global treaty that would diminish the Internet's role in economic growth and restrict the free flow of information.

The U.S. delegation to the World Conference on International Telecommunications to be held in Dubai in December has vowed to block any proposals from Russia and other countries that they believe threaten the Internet's current governing structure or give tacit approval to online censorship.
The petition takes seconds to submit, so please add your names to it.

People, Big Brother is attempting to tamper with your liberties and privacy, yet again. This lunacy has already and shamefully passed the House and is moving on to the Senate. The White House says the bill will be vetoed, in its current state. Which says if it gets a quickie rewrite to give the Oval Office more authority, it will get rubber-stamped.

I am really reluctant to stir up a hornets' nest of political debate, but people, there comes a time when we must all draw a line in the sand and stand our ground. If this utter nonsense is passed into law, we are merely handing over more of our personal liberties, without question or protest.

People, if you want to share personal aspects of your life on the Internet, that is entirely up to you. If you want to share your religious preference, your political preference, your sexual preference, etc., then so be it. But bear in mind that these are things the government cannot legally require you to share with them. Allow CISPA to become law and suddenly, the government can learn anything it wants about you, simply because you have shared it on a social network.

Anyone recognize the name, Martin Niemöller? Niemöller was the man who spoke out against apathetic Germans, after the Nazi Party rose into power. Niemöller wrote,
First they came for the communists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a communist.

Then they came for the socialists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a trade unionist.

Then they came for me,
and there was no one left to speak for me.
I'm not going to incite argument on whether or not the government is trying to trample on your Constitutional rights, but I am going to say this much - if we, the people, continue to allow the government to ignore the very blueprint that defines what the government can and cannot do, then we are already lost as a free people. People, the Constitution is not a document the government can use to enslave us, it is a document to protect us from the government assuming too much power. And it is well past time to remind Capital Hill (pun intended) of that very fact.

A lot of what-to-do has been stirred up about the Second Amendment of the Constitution in recent weeks. And yes, the government is most assuredly trying to trample on that Constitutional right with its recent nonsense. I don't give a rat's rectum where anyone stands on their personal opinions about firearms, the government is trying to strip a basic right away from the citizens of this country. Why do I say that? Because I feel one of the most important Amendments to the United States Constitution is actually the Tenth Amendment, which says,
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

Here, listen to this bureaucrat blow smoke up your bum about Internet freedoms. And then tell me how you can reconcile that load of fertilizer with CISPA.

Big Brother is only after your information plain and simple!! The Government doesn't want your guns either. It would be faster to shut down the ammo supply. This current shortage may be their second test run. Only time will tell. Vote them out? I question what my vote stands for. The government just interprets it to benefit themselves. I think they are all sock puppets double dipping the system.
