I have a question on the steering box what do I use to connect my steering column to the smooth outlet shaft on the steering box,,Is their something I have to weld on it or ??

Speedway pt# 910-32284 ... $14.95. You'll need to find a steering shaft with a 5/8 ' - 36 spline like off of a Corvair or Vega shaft. Splice the spline to the box shaft and the coupling to the upper shaft.

So I have to find a splined shaft and graph it to the out put shaft ,, ... Thanks Youngster I will start searching for one ,, I have a universal but like you say it has splines in it .
If anyone has a source for this please let me know

Be sure that welding is done true and very thorough Fred that is the steering your talking about after all......That piece will work but welding needs to be done right and that will require the disasembly of the box.......I would use a sleeve for extra safety.......jmho.......
