Got the new body from Ron Pope and have already layed up 2 more layers of mat to the inner cowl and some Cloth and mat to the firewall. I'll be putting in a door for the Wife so I also did2 more layers on the right side door area and will put in some Roving Woven before I wood the body. Going to be a lot more comfortable than the 1917 body.

Roving Woven before I wood the body.

Good idea.
Woven Roving is a great way to stiffen up an area. It's a way overlooked material. Just 3 layers of a 24oz. will add a good, strong 3/16" of reinforcement.
