I have a 71 ford drive shaft that I would like mate up to a 2000 Chevy s10 rear...Will a Chevrolet rear yoke weld into the ford shaft?

Diameter is the clue to making it. Work. If you don't know, go to a machine shop that makes driveshafts.

I went from a Ford front to a Chevy rear with no problem. I had a perfectly straight 3 1/2" bar that I used to get every thing lined up. Make sure you get the ends in time.

Look in tech section for driveline phasing and tips.

Thanks for the phasing tip. I'm going from chevy front to ford rear with ford driveshaft. Thinking I can just change the yoke but haven't confirmed it yet.
