I-beam axle angle??

After initially mocking up the front suspension a couple weeks ago, and now getting the rear together I have a roller. I need to get the exact angle on the front axle. Is the "standard" to be at around 7 degrees?? It seems a little far back to me, but what do I know??IMG_6603.JPG

You will want to set the caster with the car as-ready to drive. Weight of engine & other components, as well as tire sizes will change your initial setting. The 7* is a usual setting when it is ready to drive.

Looks to me like the bones are too low at the rear.

I'd set them level or nearly level at this point.

With all of the weight yet to come and the chassis sinking lower, you'll get even more caster from the fixed yokes.

I think the rake is already designed into the yokes with the tubes set level.

At least that's how mine are.

You're off to one hell of a nice build though. It has a nice rake to it.

I was wondering if you could share a pic of how your spring mounts to the wishbone. Look like it’s threaded into the yoke?
