need cam shaft advise .....going nuts

thanks for all your advice guys i ordered the crower cam will check all clearances think ill break the cam in with the old intake and carb dont want to wast the cam with trying to get the motor to run with the tunnel after cams broke in then ill put it on have another ? since im running progressive do i set idle and air mixture on both carbs or just my primary ( the back one) and keep the blades closed on the front one

Do as you wish , but if you want advice , don't run progressive w/a tunnel ram , the rear cyl's will run rich & the frt will run lean . I've tried it both ways & found the engine to be much more responsive & clean burning w/ 1:1. And no , there was no difference in mileage to speak of .

I've always wondered about that. Never could figure out why the fuel wouldn't drop out of the flow going to the front runners at part throttle. All my duals were non-progressive on cross rams though, so never had to deal with it. :D
