Called Diane today and ordered my interior. Color is called camel and it looks like 409Ts interior style. He is the only one i have seen with the CCR interior. The website pics dont do it justice. Thanks 409 for the tips and the pics. 3 weeks and counting.:):lol:

Hey Rooster, When you get your interior in can you post some pictures of the insert that CCR uses? Thanks

Great to hear rooster. I have been wondering how these interiors work and have talked to Diane at CCR also as I have a CCR body. I almost ordered one, but decided to do my own as I was affraid the drop in would take up too much room and I was trying to keep the cost down. Once you get in please give us your thoughts on how it turns out.

I will take a bunch so everyone can see what the options are

I ordered some steering arms from her late this afternoon and she mentioned your interior order and a few others from OK. She now thinks everyone here drives a T................

That interior will look great. Looking forward to the pics.

Mike

A lot of people are surprised when they come to oklahoma and find out we dont all ride horses to the casino.

That's really a sharp looking interior Rooster I can't wait to see it installed in your bucket.

You are gonna love that interior color, very close to the Saddle color I chose for my T. Even though my upholsterer did a marginal job, people always comment on the color.

Looks like the one you are getting is really nicely put together and the material looks substantial.

Glad the pics helped. You'll like it.

BTW, ya know that strike plate for the door that attaches to the body with 2 flathead bolts and nuts? You can't get the nuts on after the interior goes in. You especially can't get the nuts on after the interior is in, and you have cut holes in the face of it for the light switch and other switches and installed them and wired them up. You can, however, get the nuts on after you have undone all that and taken the interior back out.

409T -

How much room would you say the insert takes up? I had a drop in seat for my CCR body (not CCR's drop in), but I took it out since it took up so much room (lost 4" back and 2" side). I fabricated my own for the time being since the old one took up so much room. I have been considering trying a real CCR interior out, but do not want to run into the same issue. What are your thoughts??

Thanks!

I am waiting anxiously. So if i understand the strike plate needs to be installed before the interior is in or it will become a PITA. Thanks again 409 T i told Diane if it had not have been for your pics i would not have purchased an interior based on her website pics. I think you should get a T shirt at least out of the deal.I have encourgaged her to use an off site link to show customer cars with her parts and accessories IE picasa or photobucket. Her website is not very informative.

Nice set up. Can't wait to see the pix's of it installed in your ride.

I will stick a tape measure in my interior tonight and see if I can come up with a good answer for you.

Loss of room is why I have no inside body/door type panels, still need to really skinny up the backs of my bucket seats, even though I have been driving it this way for years, I guess I hate to have it apart and have to do without, as that is when I miss Her, when I can't have Her... same as everything else in life.. How can you you miss me, if you don't go away??? hehe

I pulled my seat out and did some interior measurements. Because everything is curved from top to bottom the thicknesses of the material and padding vary, but it looks like each side takes up between 2 and 3 inches of space, and the same for the back where people would sit. The center of the back is thicker simply because of the design, so it sticks out between 3 and 4 inches. Hope that helps.

I think the 8 inch stretch will make the interior easer on the back and keep the knees out of my chest. I went to the painter today and the black with the dark blue ghost flames look great. He added some small flake to the flames and that pops when the sun hit it . I got my camera out and the darn batteries were DEAD. I will pick it up monday and pics will follow.
