Plate and recovery tank progress...

After moving radiator back and lowering. Here is the plate I made. No holes, yet.

That's a very good idea. Painting the plate black will help make it disappear and focus attention on the tank. Putting a couple of polished aluminum or chrome blocks under the tank mounts to get it up in the air an inch or two would also help make the plate fall into the background if that's what you are after.

Looks good with the plate blacked out. The way air flows around a cylinder, you should have no air flow problems.
