I have lost that icon up to the right that says post a new post so now I have to go into "How to " just to get the oval icon. Any ideas of why?

Click on "Forums" at the top left of the page, then click on a forum title such as "Frames and Chassis". Now do you see the green oval near the top right corner? If you are already inside an existing thread the oval won't show. Fortunately it isn't a blue oval.
