After 14 yrs. & 42K miles , my rear coilovers are about due to be replaced. I got them from an outfit in mass. , they're plain painted shocks & springs & were dirt cheap. They have performed well. I don't really want chrome [rust] or aluminum [corrosion] so , does anyone have a suggestion on where to get plain painted shocks/springs ? mounted length is about 12" , pretty standard stuff . I haven't been able to contact the outfit I bought these from . IIRC , these wear Gabriel shocks . Mounting bolts are 1/2" , and I don't want to make new mounts . Ideas ??
