Home Depot sells the locks and hinges in the cabinet/desk accessories section, and come in chrome or brass. The locks come in different lenghts and thicknesses, and usually the directions are on the package.
Got mine from McMaster-Carr in Atlanta, GA. They have the locks and the hinges. Just regular box top hinges. I use them on the jewelery boxes I build. My trunk lid cover slides back on a set of drawer slides. They will support 300 lbs. Hope I never need to though. LOL :hooray:
