I’m not sure if this is in the right place but here goes.
I made the soft top for my bucket. It’s ok but I miss not being able to see out the back in the rear view mirror. A window is the solution. Would it be weird to just have an opening cut in the material? No glass, or clear plastic, just the opening. It’s not like I’m trying to stay warm or anything.
    Thoughts?
    Thanks.

Upholstery shop can sew one in for you or you can just leave a hole and hope it doesn't fray.

I agree with Bruce. An upholstery shop wouldn't charge too much to cut and bind the edges for the window. Without binding or sewing a seam around the opening, I'm afraid that at speed you might hear "R-r-r-r-r-iiiip"

Food for thought. Thanks for the feedback. The upholstery shop is a good idea.
