Show me your door latch!School Project

I am looking for more detailed pics. We have the Universal door from Speedway. I am particularly interested in how you keep the latch from rubbing on the body. I have the striker but would like to see how the meet.
If you show me we can figure something out.

I should have said..."We have the Universal door LATCH from Speedway." Many of you guys don't use doors and other may use the Bear Claw products. Hasn't someone used this latch?
