Now now that I’ve got your attention I would like to say hello to everyone, my name is Rob and I’m from Ofallon Missouri, 50 years old and I’m going to build a T bucket. Not with sign post frame rails LOL. Going to build everything from scratch as far as frame and body. 302 automatic not sure about the rear end. Well thank you for letting me join your community. Oh yeah I’m a bit of a jokester, you might’ve guessed with the sign post frame rails

I've seen any number of sailboat masts made from oval shaped aluminum guardrail like they use on bridges.

Welcome--I built mine from 2x4 x1/8" should have used 2x3x3/16"
