Stupid question

Ron, I know that we have talked before about the frame kit and stretch body that I bought from you but now that I am putting it together a stupid question has come up. I have your frame kit and a 20 inch bed. I have a XJ jag rear that I will use also. The frame has a 8 inch section at the rear now. Do I need to replace the section with a longer piece or can I just use 2 in. square to mount the bed. Will the rear look stupid if I use the 8 inch section with the extensions?
