I'm no professional by any means but I would venture to say that as long as it has a T body (bucket) anything else you put along with it to make it go down the road constitutes it as a T bucket. Safety is #1, everything else is up to personal interpretation. You just don't want to have too many rules.

Trouble is we've become a society that can't live without rules and specialists/ experts.....and GET OFF MY LAWN !
God forbid Wed be able to figure things out and take the appropriate action using common sense... As you can probably tell , this a real sore subject with me .....
 
My T Bucket, or as I refer to it to my friends who don't know jack about cars, to them it is a Roadster.
Others in the neighborhood call it :
-That yellow thing
-an Oversize Go kart
-That noisy car
Call it what you want. It's my baby!!
