Hi guys, I have a question for you: my car won't be ready for a bout a year. I came across
a good deal on rims & tires. They are new, but did not know if they sat on the car for a year
if it would be bad for the tries without really being moved all that much. Would they get a
flat spot in them, if so could they br trued?

Thanks guys for all your help!

IMHO,,,,,,,,,,,,,You would be much better off to use tires you are not going to run with for the build. If you can get the right sizes you want on the car later to build it on, then I bet another GREAT deal will come along when you get ready for the good tires. It could mean you enjoy the car much more in the long run.......

Yes just use a set of old used tires and wheels, because there are many bad things that can happen to new tires and wheels during the building process... Spend the money on needed stuff that will help get to car running and on the road first... BTDT many times... :)
