Toe in, Toe out

I have heard that on Bias Ply tires you should run 1/8" of toe in, but on Radial tires you should run 1/8" toe out. Any words of wisdom out there on this subject ?

That's the information I've read in the tech section of the NTBA site and that is specs listed in my Total Perfomance constructors manual.

Bias Ply tires: 1/8" toe in.

Radial tires: not more than 1/8" toe out.

As to why that is, I can't answer that.

I do know that neutral or 0 toe prevents front end vibration but the front end will tend to wander due to imperfections in the road surface.

Hope this helps.
