I am guessing that you were the one who was going to work with me to get everything moved over to Xenforo a few years back. I don't know why it was decided to not proceed, maybe it was the timing.

Yes..... I'm that person. You seem like a great person here on this website, but I declined this new offer from the board to work with you at that time since I had never meet you.
If it was timing, then they should have never let it get as far as it did. I spent too much time on getting a report together for the board that they did not request, but I felt the situation required a document to pull together every board members comments in one place and a place for me to be upfront on costs etc.. The only way to get everyone comments required a document, not just word of mouth.

Curious as to why you prefer Xenforo so much more than phpbb?

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) A higher hit rate when possible members are searching “T-Bucket” and the many variances of that search. The goal is to provide a link on page one of a Google search. Most people don't get past the first 8-10 hits.

What could be more important than searches that bring up your website. Do a Google search on "T-Bucket Car Forums" and the TBucketeer forum is first..... where is the NTBA website, well it at the bottom of the second page right after "African Muscle Cars". WELL, no wonder that they don't have any traffic!!!

WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editing posts. You will not see the BB codes like phpBB shows, no need to preview.

Drag and Drop graphics in a post.

Provides a better experience for those using a mobile device.

Does the NSRA use phpBB???

I am no longer a Board Member of the NTBA But I still enjoy the members that are on that website...
Before Mike, (the daddy of this site), died he and I had something to do with changing this site to Xenforo and started to change that website over also, but then Mike died and both site almost took a dive.......

The NTBA had some problems with the Board back then and that is why the direction of that site changed.

The membership went over to FB and all that sign up there, think they are members of the NTBA just because they have joined FB. There was a lot going on with the board at the same time as FB became a thing and the membership has gone downhill because of the FB thing.
I still send out packets for renewals so I see all the troubles, and if 50 bucks for membership is way to much to pay then you need to reasses the cost of a T Bucket.
The Family we have in the NTBA make going to the events (with that T Bucket that cost way to much) that are put together by the members Mucho FUN...
Don't get me wrong I really like this Forum and I do a lot of work with the Webmistress and Spanky on the NTBA Site more so that I do here both FUN to be a part of.................Well this is my reamble for the day......................
