All steel 27T Body.
350 stroked/bored to 388ci. Patriot headers, Weber 4brl, 350 trans, ford rear.
In the process of adding saddle fuel tanks under the flor for maybe 16gl total.
600w stereo is Bluetooth to my cell phone with a console charger.
Getting close to making that first trip around the block.

Welcome to our family! Your ride looks awesome! In the old days they referred to these as "rod phaetons" and they were popular. Will your saddle tanks feed independently or simultaneously?

Looking good. I appreciate a steel car. I know most if not all fiberglass Ts wouldn’t have room under the floor. Would be great to see more photos

When I said steel, I meant mostly steel..... Fair amount of work has been done and my painter Bob Scott did a fantastic job with the sunset orange. Rear panel had some serious rust, I cleaned it up, taped it to form the shape needed and filled it from the inside with a gallon of fiberglass.... Sanded and shaped to a nice solid fix to my issue which also tied in the three panels. Floor is new 16g steel welded in place, sound deadener, then a layer of plywood screwed into place, sealed and low pile carpet, very solid. Windshields are tall, new glass installed, not sure if it will stay this way until I see how it handles speed. Underside is all coated with rubberized undercoating. Grandkids have grown up getting their picture taken during the project at every stage. I expect about 400hp, cranks right up and the big cam shakes everything up and down the block idling in the driveway.

Thank you, Main tank will be 8 gallons on the driver's side with the fuel gauge sending unit and 1.5" fill to the rear pop up cap. Right side tank will be 8 gallons as well with just a breather and cross over hose tied to the main tank. May be a little slow to fill, but the 16 gallons will be nice. Originally I planned on a 32 tank under the rear, just couldn't manage to install the brackets in a way I liked.

Yes, Bob is a legend around here, simply the best guy you will ever meet. We have been friends since the late 80's. Original pics Bob had text to me as he was about done. His paint talent makes my project what it is today.
