A little Help...

with a bolt. I need to get longer bolts for my headlight buckets. I don't know what to call this kind of bolt so I can look for another one, only longer. It does not have the regular bolt head. It just has a round end and is square on the end of the shank before that round end. Hope this is clear. ????? Anyway, does anybody know what kind of bolt this is, and where to get one?

Thanks

Well, that's what I thought, but wasn't sure. That's what I'll look for.
Thanks for the confirmation.

There are several types, the most common is steel, galvanized and stainless.

Also ask for hollow carriage head bolt for the length you need or else drill them out which is not as easy as it sounds.

That depends on the headlight buckets , some wire thru the bolt , others wire thru the bucket ... depends on which style the OP has..

This is what I'm using. I had to replace one of mine because I cut it short. Has a hole drilled through the center for wires. Hope this helps.

Thanks, guys for all the info. My wires don't go thru the bolt, so I just need a longer carriage bolt.
