While my wife was digging through and sorting some old family photo she ran across this picture. It is of the fire chief's car of the Youngstown Sheet & Tube Company. That is , or should I say was, a steel plant in Youngstown, Ohio. It eventually became Youngstown Steel and then Lykes Steel before folding in the 80's. My grandfather worked there for 57 years and my dad for 38 years. I worked there for almost 9 years and completed my electrician apprenticeship and then went to work for GM for 30 years. I don't know the year that the picture was taken but it definitely was a long time ago.
