Another example of why I don't care to put my everyday street car in shows... This beauty and other's like it, take all the glory, with tons of BLING and lots to look at... Us poor street cars are not the eye candy there/in shows, as they are on the street where we are sometimes the one and only rod to look at, waaay more fun on the street as far as I think... :)

I totally agree with you Ted on your thoughts about been street driven. I would park my Bucket next door to that one so that people can compare the difference between pretty and driven. My car carries it's battle scares with pride,(stone chips etc). Another reason that I put the "StreetRod" badge on the tailgate as for me it means that the car was is build for street use. I have never understood the definition between "HotRod" and "StreetRod" as I believe both are for driving. Why would one want all wheel drive on a car like that and it makes one wonder what the turning circle is like. No not my cup of tea, thanks.

I think it was My Classic Car the other day where they showed a rod with a small riveted on tag that said "no trailer required" it was made to look like a body tag or factory VIN tag. I want one!!
