Just thought I would post some photos of some windshield posts we are fitting up to one of our Extended T Door Bodies. We have been doing these for more than 20 years.. the Total Performance Posts were layed back a bit too much for my tastes and also made it difficult to get into the cars that had a top.
We do not sell these. This is just to show those who may want to try this, that it is do'able
These are bandsawed to the degree we need, fit to the body and welded with a heli-arc using a combo of brass and bronze rod. These posts will be replated but that finish is difficult because of the material and pitting... silver solder and lots of copper plating.
