The wife and I are about ready to pull the plug and buy a kit from CCR or Spirit..

We both want a blower (show and a little go) and she does not think it would look good unless it was on a BB.. I told her we would die if it was a BB and am still trying to talk her into a SB. LOL She knows how I get on our GTA and it's in full GTA dress with power windows and all and only about 400HP.. She really does not understand what dropping about 1,600# and adding about 150HP is going to do for speed.

Anyway I just wanted to say hello,

Or names are Bob and Kim and we are in the Tampa Bay area.

Welcome to the form you guys. I got one question for ya. Dose Kim have a sister?

Ron

Welcome from Orlando.
The NTBA has a bunch of members over there.

Hello and welcome from Oviedo (Northeast side of Orlando). Hope to meet you at the NSRA Nats in Tampa in October this year. We will be there and staying at the host hotel.

Welcome to the forum and it's great to have you!

Now, just where did you find this woman who is liking the go fast stuff!?:welcome:

Welcome from Las Vegas.

LOL, She is a different kind of women... She even likes working on cars. Yes she does have a sister but her sister likes big 4X4 trucks.

I should say I trained her. When we meant I had a 72 Charger with a 440 she had a ford escort or something like that. Anyway I let her drive the charger one time and she was hooked. That was when I decided to marry her. 19 years later and she is still hooked.

We have wanted to build a bucket for years but now is the first time we have garage space and money to do it at the same time. LOL

Thanks for the warm welcome. We will more than likely have 100 questions during the build and at least know another source for the answers.

You definately are a lucky guy to have a wife that is interested in cars and willing to help. I can speak from experience because I too am one of those lucky guys that has a wife that is always willing to help. She also takes care of the money during the builds to see that it gets what is needed to be completed. This year will be our 47th year together.

Congrats on finding the right woman first time around. :) It took me twice. ;)

Ask away on the questions, there are some pretty knowlegeable people here.

I quit after three. Just don't need the aggravation.

Ron

Hey Youngster...

I thought that they always say that the third time is the charm. What happened?
