Any Truetrac LSD runners?

Curious if anybody has had experience or is currently running a TrueTrac LSD in their buckets. Pros and Cons on the street?

Eaton TrueTrac is the original helical gear LSD. In a street driver a LSD is way better than a pure locker. The TrueTrac is more a locker than an LSD, and IMHO a Salisbury clutched type is better for a street bucket because it offers degrees of lockup and most versions resist locking on a trailing throttle, which will loosen up the rear end on turn in.
But for your 4WD that gets some street use, can't go past the TrueTrac.

I'm going to use an Aussie Locker in a Ford 8.8 3.55 rear end. Any thoughts from somebody about that? Coupled to a Ford 302 and AOD transmission.

I am running the same rear out of an XR8 Falcon Ute and its fine. In a light car like a bucket the clutches last well, clutch wear being a weak point in a Salisbury type LSD. If you tend to punish a Salisbury it pays to change the oil frequently, the clutch powder is tough on the bearings.
