Anyone using a front monospring?

Anyone using a front monospring? Which one? How's it working?

Everything I have read from different spring shops, says it is not whether it will break, it is always when will it break... I guess it would all depend on what it is made of...

I have seen one on a car and a guy swore it was great. I came home thinking I would buy one until I looked on the net. It seems some have broken. I noticed posie's is making a 2 leaf spring and that is the sale pitch it is safer than a mono,

I have one. Apparently the weak spot on these springs has historically been at the center where the hole is. Mine is close to 5/8" thick at the mid point, I think that will probably carry 1000 or so lbs. of T-bucket.

Jeff, which one do you have? How's the ride?

It rides fine, but I also have an extra hundred or so pounds of 409 in the front (vs. a small block), and a 114" wheelbase. That stuff might help as well. The spring came from CCR.
