Old desktop support trick.

We took a screen shot of the user's desktop and set it as their wallpaper, dragged all the real icons off-screen and hid the taskbar/start menu. Took him a while to realize the clock wasn't changing.
Multiple reboots and profanity ensued - just about busted my diaphragm choking down the laughter. :jester:

Keep in mind this was another desktop support colleague -- the payback was a mother...
