AZCOWBO - Arizona DMV?

I thought I'd ask you since you're the only member in Arizona that I can think of off the top of my head, but anyone else who knows feel free to jump in.

Since I'm getting close I'm starting to wonder about registration requirements and the information doesn't seem to be readily available on the AZDOT site. I'm wondering what's going to be needed when I go to title my T. Things like:

1) Are seat belts required?
2) Horn?
3) Wipers?
4) Emergency brake?
5) Rear view mirrors?

Thanks!

Thanks, that's a good link but it mostly discusses fees. I'm pretty web savvy so it's pretty surprising that I can't find some sort of requirements checklist.

In Michigan all but the E-Brake are required. And in my opinion all should be on the car.The E-Brake being the exception.Just my opinion.

It gives you a phone number to call to get information on the inspection process. You should be able to go to them and get a copy of the required safety equipment needed to pass the inspection. Another source online might be Arizona's DMV codes. The state government website should have a link to the motor vehicle safety standards that will list all of the requirements.

I went to my local tag agent and they gave me a packet to fill out and mail in. KEEP ALL reciepts. Take pictures along the way. I think where most people get in trouble is they dont have any proof of purchase. Most of the registration seem to be pointed at proving your parts arnt stolen. The safety seems to be another issue.

Sorry, I have been away from this section. der Speler has the right information for contact. Since mine came from Calif., I will have to have it inspected and pass emission. Previously, I blocked one carb, because it is easier to pass with just one. In Wickenburg, we don't have inpection and pass emissions on an Arizona car. They just check serial numbers. The reason I purchased the two Demon Jr/ 525s at a bargain ($200 for the pair), from a valley guy, was he wasn't smart enough to block one off, and he couldn't get his car passed.

I meant to call the title agency today but forgot. Also, I have all the reciepts for the motor and tranny, and all the rest of the parts I bought from Summit and Jegs, but I never did find the invoice in the shipment of the kit from Spirit. Josh assures me it was there, so I need to dig through all this to try to find it.
