Big block ford

Hey guys just wondering if anybody has any good pictures of there buckets with big block ford stuffed in them? Trying to get mine set in there and it is going to fit alright but looks kind of odd. I think it will look better lower. Will try to post some pictures. Does anybody know of an oil filter relocator for the460 or 429? Thanks, kip

That filter should be the same as the 351 and Summit or the other guys sell a adaptor that rotates the filter 180 degress down.I have this on my 351 and its a life saver cause you can run the standard oil filter and still have tons of clearence.Your only other option is to relokate it which is super ugly.JUST MY OPINION.

These big Fords aren't used a lot because of physical size and weight, but they are terrific torque monsters. I have one sitting on an engine stand just waiting for the right project, and it is so easy to pull some serious hp out of them with very little mods. I say go for it.

I to have had this monster sitting around on a stand for years wating for the right project and when i decided to built a bucket i thought that will be different. It is a 429 cobra jet and i am going to run a 8-71 blower i want it to be different but not odd thanks for your replys.

Some pictures of todays progress. Big ford is sitting where she should be with temporary mounts. Hopefully i will get to build the permanent mounts next week, going racing in abilene texas this weekend.CANNOT GET PICTS. TO DOWNLOAD WILL TRY AGAIN LATER

460 ford vans from the 70-80 have a 90 degree mount, and some HD ones even have a factory engine oil cooler. the pieces will fit other ford engines. Ps be sure to get the piece that screws into the block.
