Big Brother is watching even closer

I think I have read that the present presidents health care program introduces chip implants into medical patients in the year 2013. I will do some more reading, as Pelosi suggested.
Here is another interesting item. Mike I hope this does not violate any site rules, if so, please edit as necessary.

I thought you would find this technology interesting but darn SCARY!
scary!

Is this a mosquito? No. It's an insect spy drone for urban areas, already in production, funded by the US Government. It can be remotely controlled and is equipped with a camera and a microphone. It can land on you, and it may have the potential to take a DNA sample or leave RFID tracking nanotechnology on your skin. It can fly through an open window, or it can attach to your clothing until you take it in your home. Given their propensity to request macro-sized drones for surveillance, one is left with little doubt that police and military may look into these gadgets next. And for all you who automatically say "fake" because you don't think your glorious government is funding this... Do some research. Source:http://is.gd/Uy5DJT Actual research paper:http://is.gd/1UcubI Actual footage:http://is.gd/wYN00X Another source:http://is.gd/0sVVAS And another:http://is.gd/u5DC9s

This is some of the stuff we find by accident or through research and persistance, how much is out there we do not and will not ever know about. As they say in government, it is for you own good, trust us!!!!

I've always hated that line "If you are doing nothing wrong why should you worry?" Sounds like something the Nazis would have said. What happens though is people get so tired of crime and violence they will do anything to feel safer and if it means giving the Government and Police more leeway they will do it.

If you look at how the laws have changed "in the name of protecting people", like DUI checkpoints (where you are driving along in your car and suddenly you have to explain where you have been and if you have been drinking), or those red light running traffic cameras, you get a glimpse of the future. In both those instances you are presumed guilty and then you have to prove your innocense.

Don

As far as traffic stops go, you are always presumed guilty and must prove your innocence. A speeding ticket is a perfect example. This goes against the basic principle of our legal system that says you are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
