Body Reinforcement

I'm using a Spirit Body and it seems very thick and rigid. I don't really feel the need to brace the floor (they used a honeycomb material) or the sides, though I plan on doing something with the inside of the walls. But I do think that the dash/ cowl area needs something to make the steering column more secure and to have something to mount all the necessary stuff under the dash. Any ideas/photos would be greatly appreciated.

The dash where it meets the cowl needs a LOT of reinforcement .One I built is cracking. Easy fix though. add some glass and stuff it in area. Good bodies!

I know this is old but I wanted to clarify, but do you mean along the top of the dash where the bottom of the windshield sits?

Jjust about every body cracks there! Between the end of the door/side and the dash. On the one We're building, I added a few extra layers of glass at that location from under the dash to the side. Maybe it will help?
