Thanks for all the condolonces, lost the best friend I ever had. Held ceremony Tuesday evening, and lost it. Be a long time getting over his loss. Bruce
 
Bruce,
Don't think of it as that you "lost it". I think that it's much better to release those emotions than to hold them in and try to "be strong" and fake it. Being strong is showing who you are and being proud of it.

I don't think we don't "get over" something like this. We adapt.
I hope you get to do something to honor his memory and the good times.

Although he's been gone for over 12 years I often "talk" to my dad about stuff that I think he'd like. I'm sure he'd be glad I have a decent job and am having some fun building stuff.

Be going to Arlington soon I hope. Adapt and overcome is something I have always done, Just like Roger did in his Military career. Have talked many times with loved ones lost, and always come out feeling more at ease with myself. Thanks for the insight and thoughts. Bruce/T-Test
