C4 Transmission adapter

A buddy of mine is needing a adapter to adapt a Chevy 283 to a ford c4 trans. Anyone know if they make one and/or where to get one.
Tryed Bendtsen's and Wilcap already.

Ya, Me too. LOL. But he is building a sprint car. Needs a small trans. Only 25 inchs of space for the trans.
 
Really? I always thought the th350 short tailshaft was the shortest transmission out there. At least I assumed that is why the builder of my car put one behind my sbf...

Campbell Enterprises has the adapter.
From what the guys building the sprint car are being told. A C4 trans out of a van is shorter.
