cap & jacket

No thanks necessary, I'm sorry to disappoint you. On paper, having forum apparel looked like a great idea. In practice, it was a real turkey. Everyone wanted a forum t-shirt, until they were ready to ship. Then only 20 or 30 people wanted t-shirts. We sold 3 dozen shirts and sales died in their tracks. It was awful. What started out to be a practical way to support the forum turned into a real nightmare. You've no idea what it was like, walking past a closet with over $500 worth of unsold t-shirts for months. We finally got rid of them all and I swore I would never do it again.

My mistake was not buying more when they were available. I used to wear my forum T-shirt whenever I took my bucket out but now I only wear it when I go to shows or events. It never fails to draw a comment or question but it's starting to show a little wear and I'm trying to extend it's life.

Yeah, if you have one of the shirts, it's definitely on the endangered species list. I put two of them away, wrapped in plastic, so I would always have them. I know a few people bought two, so hopefully the rotation is helping keep them alive.

Sheesh, looking at those pictures make me want to go check the closet, just to make sure they are all gone. <SHUDDER> I thought I had one of the caps put away, but I guess I forgot to keep one of them. But I regularly wear my jacket in cold weather.

Now that you've posted the picture, prepare for a fresh onslaught of requests. Seriously--very nice design.

Mike you can put me down for 2 if you ever do it again. They are nice shirts that i can see.

Yeah, the only way to do it is money up front until you have enough for a group buy... But definitely won't be cheap as buying in bulk.

I still have a "few" left, but will be keeping them as one will always get grease or food on it!!

I was trying to remember, it was you who ended up with the last of them, wasn't it?
Been on holiday and just got back. Two deer and one turkey with a bow.
Yes I bought all that was left of the t-shirts.

Perhaps with Mike's permission you could scan the front pocket logo and have it embroidered on a golf or polo shirt. This is usually very reasonable in small quanities of just one or two at a time. Just a thought.

I still have both of mine, and I never work in them. I wear them to shows, and cruises, etc.
