What was the final product that you used to seal the leak?

Regular JB Weld (red & black tube). Cleaned area well w/brake cleaner, applied the JB and then let it sit for 48 hrs. Tried to keep the garage at 70 degrees while it was curing.

Update: I'm at the 500 mile mark and the JB is still holding up.

12k with my JB patch and no leaky.

I, out of desperation, used JB Weld to block off the vacuum passage on the bottom of a Rochester 2 g carb to adapt it to run as the primary carb on a Pontiac tri-power set up. That was in 1989. It’s still as I done it today... As long as the base part is clean and porous, so it can get a bite, J.b Weld is good stuff.
