Are any of you guys running a coil spring / shock rear suspension? I see in the Speedway catalog a set of 4 3/8" o.d.x 14" @ 175 lb. spring rate coils for $69.99 pr. Couple that with some Napa shocks and you are into it for $100.00. It's not that I can't "spring" $300.00 for a set of coilovers but I'm Cheap. Better yet a set of wrecking yard springs Front/ rear off of a ...?

Jeff.

Coilovers will pay for themself in the ride I switched mine from standard springs to coilovers after going to different shocks and lighter springs. Still was a night and day difference so easy to change preload.

You're right. I guess it's one of the components you spend the money on. What are the most popular ones to get ,and who has the best deal? I need some asap. The frame is built.

Thanks, Jeff.

The best deal for a good pair of coil overs is RPM. He is a sponsor here and an all around good guy to deal with.
