Tunnelrams, we've beat this horse till it can't hardly be beat anymore.
We all have various opinions, and thoughts about this one.
While I haven't ever had that much problem with them, you have to tune them slowly and steadily.
Summit carrys the Street Type Tunnelrams which have a smaller plenum chamber which helps with the low end.
So, do a search here and on the internet. For this topic, the search button is your friend....
If your not into tuning the carbs in a big way, I would suggest you stay away from the TR's and run a dual quad Hi-rise intake, still gives you that awesome look with awesome low speed throttle response....
*Plus the Facking LawHeads are starting to look at cars with tunnelrams and blowers in a bad light....
they are now claiming that because it OBSCURES your field of vision, you should not run these. ???? Oh, and they pollute.... (yea, right, like the 5000 members here probably only 350 or so of us that do run them are gonna doom the whole planet....)
And I kid you not, they are wanting to crack down on street driven cars with exhaust tests....pollution. And all this comes from the A-Holes that lie to us everyday in the Government.
They will not be satisfied till all of us are are driving all those look alike silver boxes that cost $15,000 and do 0-60 in about 45 minutes....
Same folks that take the corn off the kitchen table and make you dilute your fuel supply so you get about 10-15% less milage with the old cars....
*These thoughts and ideas are of my own mindset, not of this fine establishment that we belong to called T-Bucket Forums or T-Bucketeers.
