anyone got pictures of one? i was thinking about the steering might be a problem with the starter on the drivers side. i just pulled my motor out of the van and was look at what might give me problems.

Not a problem if you mount the Corvair box on top of the frame. If using Vega box, just use u-joints and supports for the shaft to the box to get around any obstacles.

Moparbucket comes around the forum sumtimes. he has a 318, corvair box high. the stearing angle is very nice. his frame is wider than normal to accomadate a Dogde bros shell. there may be a pic or 2 at westtexasts.com, the club site.

Was not much over there. Thanks. Want be long and i'll find out. Might have to change my plans.

Here is a pic of it. You can just see the steering box, peeking out behind the header.

The starter is inside the frame, and the box is on top so there isn't any clearance issues.

Total Perf. mounted the box below the floor under the body. There is tons of room in front of the body. That being said put a Ford in it. :suicide:
