Your right T-Odd. He is using one of the sites SVs though, which is a great thing.
I called Ron before I did this for his permission. I did remove the pics to stop this argument. The rat rod argument will never end, I hear this argument at car shows all the time. Too many people define it in too many different ways to actually agree on what is and what isn't so this is an argument I will not win nor will I try. As I have said before I do not have the room to store a built car in my shop right now nor do I want the overhead. I am not building these fulltime and I do not intend to, as you can see by the price there is hardly a profit and if you figure in the time and consumables on doing the wood-kit and assembly I will be out any profit and lets not forget all the legwork involved and I already have done. Not everything is about money, some people are actually genuine. I am doing it as a personal project in giving back to the community that has helped me out all these years. As a kid working on cars helped me to get rid of a drug addictaton and as an adult 3 years ago the passion returned and helped me give up alcohol maybe this can help someone else out the way this community has helped me. Love it or leave it that's my mission.

Where in the ad does the kit claim to yield Don's results? It doesn't, but it gives the impression. And I have NEVER seen The Kookie Kar used in an ad that did not give credit to Norm. If there is one, please post it.

And no matter how it's sugar coated, "Rat Rod", to a lot of hot rodders is a derogitory term. Your source for a definition was WIKIPEDIA. Please. ANYONE with an account can post on Wikipedia.

Isn't there a thread around here on using other peoples images and other crap like that? Seems like it's the same thing. Spirit uses thier builds as an example. So does Speedway and CCR. If it's okay to use anyones T, then use the Kookie Kar image or a Spirit image or a CCR image and see how long THAT flies.

The pic needs to be changed. At least until Don or the new owner gives his permission. It's really plain and simple.
Agreed and done. Thanks for the honesty.

I've removed the link from the original post.
