DOOR OR NO DOOR

Is anybody tried to convert to an opening door yet. Few years ago i could hop in it , now i have to winch myself in.

I'm interested in that also. My 91 yesr old Dad wants to ride in my T but can't get in without a door.

It looks easy to cut the door opening but after what type of renforcement is needed latch handle and hinge somebody knows it all ........................................who.
