dropped tube wall thickness

Hi

Wanna fabricate my own dropped tube front suspension...

For the axle i plan to use Dia 2" DOM M.S tubing, but before i purchase material i'm not

to sure on what wall thickness is usaul to go for, bearing in mind i'll be getting a local tube

bending company to put the bends in (want it structuraly strong, but not a overkill and

too heavey as that might cause bending problems)....if any you guys could suggest

gauge , much appreciated .....:lol:

I have made several axles and changed ends on quite a few. 1/4" wall is what they all were.

That would be my choice too............1/4 wall.
