Electronic Distributor hook up

I have a distributor with an electric module inside [no points]. It has two wires coming from it, one is black and one is red. I need to know where the wires hookup. Thanks

Do you know what kind of distributor or a pic would help. Mallory or Hei or Pertronix These are a few

You need to find out who made that and check on their web site. It could be that you have to run it with something like an MSD ignition box.

Look on the critter somewhere and find a Name and a number and then do a search at the MFG'ers....you have a power feed in,: then you have your coil wire, and usually a tach feed coming out.

Don't try and just hook them up willy-nilly, you might fry something....

I finally found a name on it [bottom side of the cap] and called Procomp. They gave me the info I needed. Thanks guys.
