Exhaust Guard Swampdog style

Wow, that looks extremely nice!!!

How about some more pics of it installed? What was the final cost?

Where did you sourced the screen & Clamps?

Thanks,

Mark

I got the 0.060" Stainless Steel perforated sheet from omlinemetals.com. They will cut you what you need. (expensive though). I ordered 12" X 12" but I cut it down to 11" X 8". I got the clamps off E-Bay. Don't remember the Sellers name. Made some S/S c brackets an riveted them on.

That's the part I couldn't figure out from your pics, so that answers one of my questions.

Did onlinemetals.com roll the sheet for you?

No, I work in a very large Helicopter Repair Station with sheetmetal master craftsmen. They rolled it and made the brackets when there was a lull in normal work activities. See the air cleaner nut in the lounge section they made .

Went on a 50 mile jaunt today and when I got out you could touch the guard with out getting burnt. I was wondering if it would get as hot as the collector or not.

It takes alot to get SS hot, and takes even more to keep it that way.... Chrome plating holds the heat in
Those Look Nice!
