    After receiving a concussion in a prang back in the 80's I can't get within 100' or so of a running fueler, or I fall over.

    A friend used to drag race, and one night I went out to see him run. He invited me to go over and see a fueler do a static run up. I couldn't get anywhere near it, and my knees went out from under me when I returned to his pit.

    I get paid for what I know
    I grew up 6 miles from Bandimere Speedway in Colorado. Bandimere is surrounded by massive rocks that bounce the noise out directly into town. On the drag nights the noise would echo across the front range like an angry combination of thunder and gunfire. It was something.

    My neighbor runs an A Fuel dragster, but has switched to Funny Car for 2023. We get to make a few parts for them. Header flanges a week or so ago.
