Flexplate clarification

I have a 1974 vintage 350 chevy engine, and I just got my flexplate. Now, a 350 chevy is internally balanced, correct? I thought the flexplate is suppose to have a weight welded on for this engine. It is a 168 tooth flexplate and there is no weight. Is this a mess up on Jegs part, or is this right?

Thanks, guys

P.S. Be easy on me Ted

Your flexplate is correct. Your engine is internally balanced, therefore the flywheel/flexplate and balancer are neutral, i.e. no counterweights.

Only externally balanced engines have external weights on the flywheel/flexplate and balancer.
