FRONT END QUESTION

I'm using a four bar on my car and it rides great. Since I never had a hairpin set up on the car, I can't give you any comparison. The main advantage with a four bar is that there is no twisting on the axle when one side moves and not the other. A four bar is advised when using a tube axle but with the small amount of suspension travel on most T's it's a moot point. There is also a small amount of caster change with a hairpin set up as compared to a four bar set up.

Thanks Jim, do you know if any of these forum sponsors offer a 4 bar setup ?

My first choice would be Ron Pope @ RPM. There are other very good sponsors on this site but Ron is the only one that I know personally and he does customer oriented custom work. Give him a call.

They're all good. I just had CCR set up a frame for me with 4 bar front and rear.

I'm no help on the 4 bar setup thing, but I just wanted to say we do have some awesome sponsors on this site! I wouldn't hesitate doing business with any of them.

Interestingly, down in this part of the world (New Zealand) it is not legal for us to have split bones or hairpins with a tube axle. We can only have them with an I Beam axle.
